We went on a trip to the historical city and erstwhile capital of the Mysore residency Srirangapatna and Mysore last weekend. Being a history lover and an ardent fan of Tippu sultan I was able to visit the grave were he is put to rest. We went to Srirangaptna Sri Ranganatha temple for which Tippu sultan and Hyder Ali his father were patrons.

First mangoes of 2008
Thursday, April 24th, 2008The first batch of mangoes have arrived and I got my first batch yesterday. I have uploaded some for you viewing pleasure when I am enjoying it here.
Slurrrrpp. This variety of mango is called Alphonso.
Flowers in our garden

Get together with friends
Saturday, April 19th, 2008We invited few friends for a get together today.
The pictures are not great but did bring few of us to meet and have fun after quite a long time. I guess everyone enjoyed it.
